Yesterday was the first day back at work after a less than stellar spring break. The break involved an eye infection, a broken tooth, a son with mono and painting. All behind me now. Back to the groove, sometimes work can be a welcome break. It was a beautiful day when I got off so I rolled my window down a little and enjoyed the fresh air.
This morning I went out to take my son to school and noticed I had left the window down. I got closer and noticed raccoon footprints on the window. I had my son help me open all the doors incase the varmit was still in there. I opened the back door and there on the floorboard was a huge pile of shit. GROSS!!!
I have never had this happen to me before. I have 4 boys, have done daycare and owned every type of animal imaginable so I have cleaned up my share of gross things. This is so different. I don’t know what animal did this but this is messed up. Clean up involved rubber gloves, antibacterial spray, a roll of paper towels and a whole lot of gagging.
Lesson learned—always make sure your windows are closed. : )
I still think they're cute.
